ASUS X550C Cleaning and Disassembling Guide

The Asus X550C is getting on a bit in technological terms, equipped with only a two-generations-old Intel “Sandy Bridge” 1.4GHz Core i3-2365M processor and its on-chip Intel HD Graphics 3000 graphics chipset.

Planning to upgrade the memory, hard disk or you want to fix some problem of your laptop.? Here is the complete guide to disassemble and assembling your ASUS X550C Laptop.

First, of course, remove the battery, remove all the screws at the back of the laptop, use a plastic tool to unlock the cover case.

Slowly pull up the laptop cover with extra care, a lot of cables in the back are connected. Be sure to release it before continuing the procedure such as removing the motherboard or pull up the cover case

    hi , i would replace the fan on the same laptop (X550cc). Am I obliged to disassemble the cooling rod and replace the thermal paste?
    what is the aluminium ruban who used to fixed the new fan ? have you a reference ?
