    Was very helpful. BTW if you can’t find or don’t want to spend the money for the whole heat sink assembly the fan itself is even easier to replace. Just take the 4 screws off the fan, carefully remove the little wires tucked into notches as well as the fan connector to the motherboard. Slide the old fan out and slide the new one in, plug it in, reattach the extra wires travelling on the side, replace the screws and you are done.
